NUGGETS OF THOUGHT: A DROP OF WORDS

1.  "WAITING IN FAITH"

My Dear Friend,

I just felt like sharing something and I thought it might encourage you too.

In this world of unanswered prayers, it’s easy to feel like no one hears us. But let me remind you, my dear friend, that there is a God who listens and answers in His perfect time. He is never late, never early—His timing is always flawless.  His promises are fulfilled at the perfect moment. Stay faithful!!

Think about it:

Abraham waited 25 years to see God’s promise fulfilled.

Joseph waited 17 years to see his dreams realized and became a leader in Egypt.

Moses waited 40 years in the wilderness before God called him to lead Israel.

David waited 15 years from being anointed to becoming king.

Anna waited decades as a widow, worshiping and fasting, until she saw the Messiah.

Simeon waited patiently for God’s promise to see Jesus before his death.

The disciples waited 50 days after Jesus’ resurrection to receive the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.

The common thread in all their stories? They waited faithfully. They trusted God’s promises and held on, even when the wait felt long. That’s what set them apart.

So, if you’re feeling sad or discouraged because your prayers seem unanswered, I want to encourage you: don’t lose heart. Relax, trust, and wait for God’s perfect timing. He will answer you. He always responds.

Don’t let sadness or doubt bring you down. Stay faithful. Hold on. The God who worked wonders in the lives of Abraham, Joseph, Moses, David, Anna, Simeon, and the disciples is the same God who is working in your life. You will see His promises fulfilled, just as they did.

Take care and keep the faith.

With love,

Ashish George

2. "THE ESSENCE OF LIFE"

A child is born into this world, lives their life, and eventually vanishes. The process is the same for everyone, but what sets individuals apart is how they spend the time between birth and death. The true essence of life can only be realized when you walk according to God’s will. Otherwise, your life is in vain.

"For what is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes."

Your life’s worth is determined by how you use your time. Good people create good moments. What about you? How do you spend your time?

Are you living in alignment with a higher purpose, or are you simply existing without direction?

Do you believe your life has meaning beyond the ordinary events, or is it just a series of passing moments?

Life does not have a sequel. We have only one life, know the truth, understand it, follow it, set high goals, and make it meaningful.

3. "LIFE: GOD'S QUESTION PAPER"

Life can be compared to an exam conducted by a board, NET, etc. In an exam, the organizer arranges everything—tables, chairs, question papers, timing, and the pattern of the test. As students, we cannot bring our own chair or question paper to the exam; we simply need to be prepared to face the questions using what has been provided.

Similarly, in life, we face challenges that can be seen as tests. Often, we try to rely solely on our own resources—our intellect, desires, or plans—forgetting that God has already arranged everything we need to face these challenges. Just as in an exam, where the board provides what is necessary, God provides us with the tools, strength, and guidance to overcome life’s problems.

Our role is not to control the process or bring our own solutions but to prepare ourselves with faith, humility, and readiness. Trusting in God’s plan and provisions allows us to approach life’s difficulties with confidence, knowing that everything we need is already in place.

4. "WAIT: YOUR PEAK IS YET TO COME"

Let me tell you a story. Once upon a time, there was a young bird who had just learned to fly. Excited and eager, he spread his wings and soared into the sky. As he began his journey, he met a sparrow. The sparrow cheerfully said, “I’m flying at the peak of my ability! It feels amazing!” The young bird was inspired and thought, I can’t wait to reach my own peak. He flew higher and soon came across a crow. The crow exclaimed, “I’ve reached my limit, and I’m so happy here!” The young bird kept flying. Further along, he encountered a pigeon, who said, “This is the highest I can go, and it feels incredible!” Each bird he met seemed to have reached their final, most fulfilling point. But the young bird? His peak had not yet come. He flew higher and higher, but his “last point” remained out of reach. Frustrated and tired, he began to question God. “Why me? Why hasn’t my time come yet? Everyone else has reached their peak, but I haven’t. What did I do wrong?” Despite his doubts, he kept flying. Higher and higher, he went, pushing himself further than he ever thought possible. Finally, he reached a point where he could fly no higher — his last point. From there, he looked down. To his amazement, he saw all the other birds far below him. Yeah!! I am talking about the Eagle. So, dear, if you haven’t reached your goal yet, don’t be sad. Your time will come. Remember, the eagle has to wait the longest and work the hardest to fly the highest. But when it reaches its peak, it soars above everyone else. The higher you rise, the greater you’ll stand in the end.

5. "SET FREE BY SACRIFICE"

Let me tell you a story. Once, a donkey fell into a deep pit. It struggled to escape, but each attempt failed. As the donkey lay there in pain, people, seeing the hopelessness in its eyes, decided to end its suffering. They began throwing dirt into the pit, intending to bury him alive.

The donkey, looking up, saw his master standing above the pit. With hopeful and tearful eyes, he silently pleaded for help. His master, moved by deep compassion, jumped into the pit to save him. As the dirt piled up, the master stood beside the donkey, brushing it off and allowing the donkey to step on it. With every pile of dirt, the donkey rose higher, until finally, he was free and emerged from the pit, saved.

This story mirrors our own lives. Like the donkey, we too fall into the pit of sin and despair. The world may give up on us, but the one who is filled with love and compassion, entered our brokenness. He took on our suffering and gave his life to rescue us. Through his sacrifice, he made a way for us to rise above sin and death, offering us freedom and eternal life. When all seemed lost, he didn’t abandon us. He gave his life to lift us out of the pit and lead us to salvation.

6. "SEEK, UNDERSTAND, TRANSFORM"

Before reading the Bible, one should begin with life’s most profound questions: What is the purpose of life? Why are we here? What is our ultimate goal? What is sin, and why does it separate us from our Creator? Why do we need repentance? What is love, and what is grace? How does God forgive and bless us despite our sins? What happens after death, and what is our destiny beyond this life? These questions open the heart and mind to seek truth, and the Bible provides the answers. It reveals our purpose in God's design, the reality of sin and salvation, the depth of divine love and grace, and the promise of eternal life through Christ. As one reads, they come to understand the true meaning of life, love, grace, salvation, and eternity, finding not just knowledge but transformation in the presence of God’s truth.

7. "IN PERFECT SYNC WITH GOD"

Did you ever notice that most musical instruments have two essential parts that must be connected to produce a beautiful sound?

Guitar – The strings vibrate between two fixed points (the nut and the bridge), creating a melodious tune.

Tabla – Consists of two drums, the dayan (right-hand) and bayan (left-hand); when played together, they create rhythmic beauty.

Piano – Has two types of keys, black and white, both working together to compose a balanced musical piece.

Trumpet – Air blown into the mouthpiece exits through the bell, producing a rich sound.

The connection between these parts is what creates beautiful music. If one side is lost, the music is lost.

Similarly, dear one, our lives can only be beautiful, peaceful, and fruitful when we—the people—are directly connected to our second portion, God.

Now think about this—if you try to connect the bayan of a tabla with the black keys of a piano, will it work? No. If you attach guitar strings to a trumpet, will it produce music? No, it won’t.

Similarly, if you try to make your second portion another person, it won’t work. Money? No, dear—it won’t work either.

A pure connection happens only when you are directly connected to God.

Life’s journey may be tough, filled with struggles and failures, but the key to a fulfilled life is a divine relationship with our Savior. Stay connected with Him, just as an instrument stays in tune with its fundamental parts. When this connection becomes the foundation of your life, you will experience true harmony, joy, peace, and, above all, the love of God.

9. "GOD'S SOVEREIGNTY OVER ALL"

Do you know that even in his rebellion, Satan still operates under God's authority, only acting within the limits God allows? We see this during the testing of Job—Satan had to ask God's permission before afflicting him, and God set strict limits on what he could do. Similarly, Jesus told Peter that Satan had demanded to sift him like wheat.

In both cases, the common thread is that while Satan opposes God and seeks to harm his people, he cannot act beyond the boundaries set by God. Ultimately, everything he does serves God's greater purpose. The truth is that God's sovereignty remains supreme over all creation, including fallen angels.

So, we don't need to worry or be afraid, because the Author and Director of our life story knows every scene and has already planned the perfect outcome. Trust Him, for His wisdom is greater than our understanding.

10. "THE SACRED BOND: A RELATIONSHIP OF TWO-YOU AND GOD"

In every meaningful relationship, the number two holds profound significance. Love is shared between two hearts, conversations unfold between two souls, time is cherished between two beings, and life is beautifully lived between two. A bond remains whole and unshaken when it is undivided—rooted in trust, nurtured by understanding, and strengthened by exclusivity.

Likewise, our relationship with God must be a sacred and close connection between just two—you and him. Your love for your creator should be deep and personal, a flame that burns in the quiet corners of your soul. Your conversations with your heavenly father should be direct and sincere, words whispered in faith, unburdened by pretense. Your time with God should be undisturbed—a sacred sanctuary where the world fades away, and only his presence remains.

Yet, how easily the world intrudes. Material wealth, fleeting pleasures, and even the voices of others often compete for the space meant solely for him. But remember, a divided heart cannot truly love. The moment we allow a third presence into this divine bond, the connection weakens—like a love triangle destined to collapse under its own weight.

So, guard this relationship with all your heart. Keep it pure, keep it personal. Let nothing, no one, and no fleeting desire come between you and your God. For in the sacred union of two, the soul finds its truest peace, and love finds its highest purpose.

11. "TRUE SACRIFICE: LOVE THAT GIVES EVERYTHING"

What is real sacrifice?

He was sitting on His throne; just for me, He sacrificed His throne.

He was clothed in glory; just for me, He took on the frailty of flesh.

He was surrounded by angels; just for me, He walked among sinners.

He was the eternal King; just for me, He became a servant.

He held the stars in His hands; just for me, He let His hands be pierced.

He was worshiped in heaven; just for me, He endured rejection on earth.

He was crowned with majesty; just for me, He wore a crown of thorns.

He had no sin; just for me, He bore my shame and guilt.

He was untouched by pain; just for me, He was wounded and broken.

He was the source of life; just for me, He embraced death.

He reigned in power; just for me, He became weak.

He was love itself; just for me, He became the sacrifice.

In the world’s eyes, sacrifice means losing something. But no, dear, it is not like that.

Sacrifice is not about loss; it is about love.

It is not about giving up; it is about giving fully.

It is not about pain; it is about purpose.

True sacrifice is the highest form of love—one that gives everything, expecting nothing in return.

12.    "EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED: TRUST IN GOD'S TIMING"

My dear friends, God is deeply interested in the affairs of your life. You may be praying for something and yet not see an answer, but that does not mean God is not working. Zechariah and Elizabeth were righteous before God, yet their prayers for a child remained unanswered for years. However, they did not give up; they continued to believe, and in God’s perfect time, He blessed them with John the Baptist. The real problem is that we have lost the ability to expect the unexpected. We have stopped believing in the supernatural, limiting God’s power in our lives. But the truth remains—our God is still a miracle-working God. If we truly desire His intervention, we must allow Him to disturb and reshape our lives. Faith is the key, for as Jesus said, “If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer” (Matthew 21:22). When we expect, we receive; when we trust, we witness His glory. So, keep believing—God is not done yet! He is going to answer your prayer. May God bless you!!

13.    "THE ONLY SALVATION"

In many religions, including Hinduism, salvation (moksha) is often pursued through various rituals and pilgrimages. People travel to places like Vaishno Devi, Rishikesh, and the Ganges, undertake difficult fasts, walk barefoot on long yatras, and hope that these acts will lead them to moksha. In Islam, the pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina is also considered a key step toward spiritual fulfillment. But, dear friend, let me share with you a truth that sets hearts free. The Bible says: “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.” (Acts 16:31) That’s it. No more wandering. No more rituals. No more striving. Just believe.

Have you ever noticed how people return from pilgrimages and say, “I’ve received moksha” or “I’ve found peace”?

Then why, after they die, do their families still perform rituals like “aatma ki shaanti ka yagya” or “moksh prapti ka yagya”?

If they truly attained salvation while alive, why the need for more ceremonies after death? This reveals a deep uncertainty. Even after all the rituals, there’s still doubt—still fear about what happens after death. But the Bible offers blessed assurance, not uncertainty. You and I are sinners. We have sinned against a holy God. The punishment for sin is death—eternal separation from God. But God, in His great love, made a way for us. He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to take our place.

We deserved punishment. He was without sin. But Jesus willingly took the punishment that belonged to us. He died for us so that His life could become ours. Jesus came for you. He died for you. He rose again—so you can live forever.

When you believe in Him, you don’t need any ritual to be saved. You don’t need to go to holy rivers or mountains.

Your salvation is not earned by your works; it’s given by His grace. Jesus said: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die.” (John 11:25). So stop running from place to place. Stop trying to earn what Jesus already paid for. Just believe.

Believe in Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your house.

That is the promise of God. That is true salvation.

14.    "LORD, YOU CARRIED IT ALL FOR US"

Ashish was tired of life. Struggles, failures, and loneliness had made his heart heavy, and he felt like he couldn't go on anymore. One night, with tears in his eyes, he walked into an old church. The quietness of the place gave him some comfort, but his pain still felt too much to bear. As he looked around, his eyes stopped on a painting—Jesus on the cross. He stared at it and whispered, "Lord, my pain is too much. I can’t take it anymore." At that moment, a soft voice spoke in his heart, "Is your pain greater than mine?" Startled, Ashish looked at the painting again. Jesus’ body was wounded, His head crowned with thorns, His hands and feet nailed to the cross. Yet, His face was filled with peace and love. Ashish realized he had been so focused on his own suffering that he never thought about the One who took the pain of the whole world with love and forgiveness. Tears filled his eyes again, but this time, they felt lighter. He knelt down and said, "Lord, I understand now. My pain is nothing compared to Yours, yet You carried it all for us. I will not give up." That night, something changed inside him. His troubles were still there, but they didn’t feel as heavy. He left the church with new strength, knowing that beyond the pain, there was love, hope, and peace waiting for him.
